"The Art of Self-Examination"
Self-examination
is a traditional Lenten discipline and something that many Christians
practice every day. I will talk about the benefits of taking time to
review your day, as well as evaluating a season in your life. We will
learn about the Ignatian Examen, which was a daily prayer offered by
Saint Ignatius that has been practiced by Christians for hundreds of
years. If you want to get a head start, search "Ignatian Prayer" or
"Ignatian Examen." Also check out this web site which includes some
short videos made by students at St. Ignatius College Prep in San
Francisco. http://ignatianspirituality.com/ignatian-prayer/the-examen/
